Young studs and classic course horses will cross the radar screen this week at TPC Deere Run.
The ONLY thing I’m sure about this week is you better have a horse that has no problem making plenty of birdies and doing it over multiple days. Par is NOT a decent score this week.

Ryan Moore returns from injury to defend so that adds a layer of uncertainty as well.

The Tour returns to the TPC Old White in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia after being cancelled last year after historic, deadly flooding.
The course is back and ready to go and scoring should return by the bucketful this week on this resort layout.

I’d suggest reading this missive carefully as there is a catch.
Due to the deadly floods in Greenbrier County last year, the 2016 edition was cancelled and Danny Lee could not defend.
One year later, the course has been rebuilt and put back together for the PGA Tour.

Kyle Stanley, who hasn’t won on Tour since 2012 defeated Charles Howell, III, who hadn’t won on Tour since 2007, in a playoff yesterday to win the Quicken Loans National at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm just outside Washington, D.C.
