It was a tough first round for some of the biggest names in golf.
Tomorrow could possibly have weather introduced to the proceedings.
Never a dull moment in fantasy land!

Blew a tire or four last week.
Dropped almost 400 spots.
That will not be the case this week as there are plenty of big boys to make up the lineup.
Jack’s place has presented some interesting finishes over the last few years.
The list of recent winners doesn’t reflect the depth of the field, which I find interesting.
Tiger Woods has won this event five times and should be addressed this week.
Big boy field in action this week at Jack’s place outside Columbus.
As always, I’ll add my picks on Wednesday just after lunch.
(Ed: Picks added 1:20 pm Wednesday; DFS picks added 3:50 pm Wednesday)
Classic Colonial is front-and-center this week but the forecast suggests low scores could be on the card.
They just don’t pass out tartan jackets to anyone around here as Colonial Country Club requires 14 clubs, six inches and the ability to move the golf ball left and right.
Proper test of golf requires proper golfers.
Old school Colonial Country Club ,”Hogan’s Alley”, reeks of tradition and proper golf.
That was a massive angle for my selection(s) this week.
What’s Australian for cheese, then?
Look, it’s “Colonial”, ok?
This is one of those weeks where the venue > all and I’m old-skewl so that’s what I’m calling it, just like I call Riviera “Riviera”.
Funny how both of those tracks are “Hogan’s Alleys” as well…
As usual, I’ll be back just after lunch time with my selections for the week but this will more than get you started!
UPDATE: 2:11 pm — my selections added
UPDATE: 2:54 pm — Jimmy Walker added (thanks Mal)
Brand-new venue this week will provide a test with heat, wind and weather.
Trinity Forest Golf Club south of Dallas hosts the 50th Byron Nelson.
Looks more like Scotland or England or Ireland.
It’s Trinity Forest outside Dallas, USA.
It’s unique.
