Horses for Courses: WGC-HSBC Champions 2019
List of winners here should provide plenty of clues. Those chasing aren’t to be dismissed either.
Big cash + limited field = happy elite players
OAD: ZOZO Championship 2019
New course, limited field, you know the rules!
OAD: 2019 CJ CUP AT NINE BRIDGES
For those of you who are new, yeah, it’s ALL CAPS.
Year three on Jeju Island with a field of 78.
Two big-timers have won the first two editions and I think that will continue again this week.
Horses for Courses: CJ CUP AT NINE BRIDGES 2019
OAD: 2019 Houston Open
Real thing goes for the last time at GCH tomorrow!
Time to get this losing streak stopped and I’m throwing a big-name player out there to stop my bleeding.
Or continue it.
2019 Houston Open Preview
Final time at the Golf Club of Houston before moving downtown next year!
Should this be cause for concern???? Nah, he’ll find another!
OAD: Shriners Hospitals for Children 2019-2020
One and Done
That’s how it usually ends.
With a thud.
But you know my rule, MC > T54. No weekend suffering.
Unless you’re in Spotter’s pool, T54 is no good.
Just ask Chadders.

THE PICK
Scott Piercy
I’m not going to throw out a premium player in a year where the field is bigger and the best it has been.
When 20-under or more is “normal” it’s a total crap shoot and wide-open madness. For god’s sakes 47-year old Rod Pampling won this three years ago!
This is Piercy’s major so I’ll take my chances with THIS 40-year old and save DeChambeau and Cantlay for down the road.
Safety Dance:
Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Cantlay, Webb Simpson
Spicy:
Collin Morikawa, Matthew Wolff, Charles Howell III
3AM at the Blackjack Table:
Chesson Hadley, Brian Harman, Aaron Wise

History Channeled:
2018-19
My majors contributions and PLAYERS selection were worse than bad so to still break the $10 million mark with those awful results was encouraging.
Another valuable lesson learned is that the Playoffs are for the big boys. Now, WHICH big boys makes this more and more difficult and that’s why it’s enjoyable and maddening all at the same time. Only McIlroy and Woods have won the FedExCup twice so start there.
