PGA TOUR Fantasy Game — Waste Management Phoenix Open

If last week was a 54-hole event…

Look, this can’t be any WORSE than that, right?

Right?!?!

Calm before the storm:

Welcome to 2018!

In here, you’ll find my BRIEF thoughts and strategy for the PGA TOUR Fantasy game.

It’s no secret that I cannot stand substitution games but I’m always using it to my advantage when it benefits ME.

I finished in the top 100 last year so I’ve figured something out, BUT:

I’m off to a terrible start in 2017-18.

1.) I forgot to play one week.

2.) I had ALL SIX GUYS miss the cut at The RSM Classic to end my chances, er, season in 2017.

After reading that, I’m surprised any of you would read on but alas, I’ll forge ahead for those who do.

Last Week — Farmers Insurance Open

  • Tournament Points: 385
  • Tournament Rank: 12,165
  • Season Points: 7,743
  • Season Rank: 3,702

Almost as bad as my OAD choices!

At least I gave you the winner on Alternate team.

Yay.

I didn’t roster Fowler so I saved a start there. Yes, that’s it.

This Week

We’re back to the NORMAL GAME for this week before it’s scoring only again next week at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The chalk didn’t fly last week and there’s no guarantee it will this week either. I’m going to balance my lineup with some desert dogs and West Coasters.

Starters

Rickie Fowler (one left this segment)

Ryan Palmer (3)

Hideki Matsuyama (2)

Webb Simpson (2)

Subs:

Jon Rahm (0)

Zach Johnson (3)

Alternate Alternatives

For those of you, who like to live dangerously…or like me, need to have a miracle this week to get back into business:

Tony Finau

Austin Cook

Marc Leishman

Brendan Steele

Daniel Berger

Beau Hossler

Good luck!
