Emergency 9: Waste Management Phoenix Open

The flu is real and it spectacular.

I wanted no part of this over the weekend:

Last Thursday I called a high school basketball game that went to overtime after following a JV game that went to overtime. In between those two games were a Special Olympics game and an awards ceremony. I rolled in at 10:45 Thursday night, filed my column at 12:15 am and off to bed I went.

After doing radio in the morning on Friday, I knew I was toast.

My wife had it earlier in the week and I felt goofy on the broadcast Thursday night. I was in bed all of Friday until the second round ended and had to file.

Then I went back to bed.

Saturday was worse as I had IU-Michigan State at 8: 15 so it was almost a repeat of Thursday night!

I had just enough of one eye open to see Alexis Sanchez miss then make for his first United goal. I used the other eye to watch the Super Bowl after banging out the final Emergency 9 of the weekend.

Monday I didn’t get out of bed until 5 pm.

Tuesday it was lunch time.

I’m slowly getting back to normal so I appreciate your patience.

I have stuck all four Emergency 9’s from the WMPO in here for convenience as I think looking back always helps in looking forward.

Round 1

Round 2

Round 3

Round 4

Gamers, if you would like more information, angles or whatever, let me know. This column is flexible as it gets so changes are easily made.

If you’ve read this far, you’ll understand why there isn’t a preview this week.

The Confidence Factor will suffice this week from me but you can always find more at PGATOUR.COM/Fantasy.
