It’s back to Texas for the third time in five weeks as San Antonio joins Austin and Houston as host cities.
This will be the 87th Valero Texas Open but only the eighth hosted at the AT&T Oaks Course at the JW Marriott.
Charley Hoffman is the landlord around these ’em here parts and has a pair of these to show from last year.

I’m terrified of snakes even though have no arms and no legs.
“The Snake Pit” stretch of holes at Innisbrook’s Copperhead (snake again) course should get the attention of the field this week.
Be afraid of my picks more than the fake snake…

No more cool, ocean breezes, Poa annua and rain delays as the Tour leaves the California coast for the warm, humid ocean breezes, Bermudagrass and water hazards of Florida.
You know what else is hard? The rest of this course!

My Valentine’s Day gift to you is a loaded field in L.A. on a fantastic track at Riviera Country Club.
As if OAD isn’t difficult enough, gamers will have a multitude of decisions to make this week that will effect the rest of their season.
Remember, the D in OAD stands for DONE…

TPC Scottsdale throws a hell of a party and No. 16 is the center of that universe.
With plenty of beer cans and birdies in the mix, the field should be wide open this week.
If the beer is as cold as my recent OAD selections, I’d expect a proper party!

Torrey Pines South Course is almost 7,700 yards of behemoth with beauty.
The North Course received a major face lift after last year’s event.
Time to find “the one” to get back on track in OAD.
