The Wells Fargo Championship has been relocated to Eagle Point in Wilmington, N.C., as its old home, Quail Hollow Club, prepares to host this summer’s PGA Championship.
The early week reviews have been strong on this Tom Fazio design as golf returns to Wilmington for the first time in 60 years.

The Tour moves from inland Charlotte to coastal Wilmington as 156 pros tee it up at Eagle Point Golf Club.

Well, that was something new and exciting!
Congratulations to Cameron Smith on his first Tour win and Jonas Blixt for win No. 3. They defeated Kevin Kisner and Scott Brown on the fourth playoff hole Monday at TPC Louisiana outside New Orleans.

This will be the first one that is played as a partner’s game.
