TPC Louisiana

Pete Dye is back, again!

The four Par-3 holes play over 200 yards.

The four Par-5 holes play 585 or shorter.

The winning score is 25-under or better in the last four editions.

Have fun this week. Countrymen will proudly represent the Motherland. Former college teammates will don the colors of Alum U. Neighbors, randoms, and everything else will be represented.

Guys who are NOT hitting it well will probably not find it this week. There is nowhere to hide when playing alternate shot on Friday to make the cut. The pressure of letting down your teammate is 1000000 times worse than navigating your own mind.

Guys who are hitting it well, please, jump in with both feet. TPC Louisiana is defended by water and wind, but is not set up to yield high scores.

Notes:

  • Field of 74 two-man teams
  • $9.5 million – $1.372,500 million each – 400 FedExCup points each.

Last WEEK – RBC Heritage

No rest for the wicked after the first major championship of the season!

THE CHOICE: Russell Henley – T25

It would have been way too easy to ride with Matt Fitzpatrick…

Henley posted four rounds of 70 or better, including 68-68 to open, but never contended, just like me in this format in 2026.

This Week – Zurich Classic

THE CHOICE: Alex Fitzpatrick

If there are 200 guys in the league, I would expect 197 to play him this week.

Others

Karl Vilips, Aaron Rai, Shane Lowry, Chad Ramey, Sudarshan Yellamaraju

Horses for Courses

Billy Horschel, David Lipsky, Keith Mitchell, Taylor Moore/Wyndham Clark, Garrick Higgo
