“New” venue as the host this week as Congressional has the year off.
The brand-new segment fires up this week but the caveat is it ends on the final day of The Tour Championship.

Or something.
Better have a plan!
PGA Tour Fantasy Golf Game
Each week, I’ll trot out guys who I believe who fit the course, the game and the road map, plus add some substitutes. Four starters are supported by two bench players each week. Remember, once a player tees off in your lineup he burns a start, so make sure you need to sub out instead of want to sub out.
You’ll learn a few things about me each week in this column.
Games, like this one, that involve daily substitution options, I am terrible at playing.
I’ll give you my best four starters and two bench options but it’s up to you to outguess me on which rounds they should sit or play.

Banner week for not having the winner as I moved up 16 spots on the back of Berger, Casey and Steele having excellent weeks. With Jason Day and Justin Thomas killing me early in the event, I’m even more chuffed that the final four had a very good weekend.
Berger did everything but win the golf tournament as he led the field with 397 points. My luck was that I missed his worst day, Thursday, as I suffered with Thomas.
I was so excited about having Berger in the lineup last week that I also added him to the Alternates section. #SubliminalClues.
This Week
Everyone resets to three starts as QLN starts the segment and The Tour Championship will end the segment and the season.
Now is the time to start mapping out who is going to go where.
With two majors, an WGC and four Playoff events, even I, he who is terrible at maths, knows that Jordan Spieth or ANYBODY cannot play them all.
It’s time to figure out who plays well where or, similarly to OAD, shoot first and ask questions about who is left later.
I’ll repeat this: If you’re saving starts, make sure you are in a position that saving starts MEANS SOMETHING late in the Playoffs. If you’re not in that position, you’ll have to activate your plans earlier to catch up.
Alternate Alternatives
Hell, I’d have no problem with these six guys either!
Rickie Fowler
Graham DeLaet
Tony Finau
David Lingmerth
David Hearn
Kevin Streelman
Good Luck!
