I’ve kept up my streak in NOT picking a winner in the three major championships this season. I’m guessing I’m not alone with three, first-time winners!
2016 Rank: 15,828

Last Week’s Explanation:
This Week: RBC Canadian Open
Group 1: I’ll take the hottest of the hot hoping that the masses will ride the defending champion. I have no problem endorsing any of the players in this group as they all sit within my top 10 in my preview linked above. I’d suggest Kuchar is the SAFEST of the bunch if you’re trying to maintain your lead.
Group 2: Similar to Group C in Yahoo!, there’s something for everyone in here! I’ve added a steady player to the explosive DJ so if you go Kuchar in Group 1, I could see him being paired with Finau here. Colt Knost was tough to leave out but McGirt loves Canada!
Group 3: I’m never upset when I find a one of my top-five rated players in Group 3 so I stopped looking once I found last year’s 54-hole leader. If you’re riding the power/bomber angle this week, I won’t talk you out of his fellow countryman Graham DeLaet. Searching for a long-shot would take me to Harold Varner, III or Morgannnnn Hoffffffmannnnnn.
Group 4: Wild horses had to drag me away from Dan McCarthy for red-hot Saunders but part of me still has one eye on Jon Rahm as we’ve learned course history is hardly any guide on a scoring track. Robert Garrigus makes a tasty outsider if that’s your angle.
