This Week: The Open Championship
Group 1: Of the five players, four present a clear chance of winning as I believe Watson is the odd man out here. Day gets the nod because I don’t think DJ is going back-to-back=to-back. McIlroy’s not sure on how he’s going to putt round to round. Spieth seems to be fighting his swing and injury as he’s skipping the Olympics due to health reasons.
Group 2: So, so tough with Garcia or Scott but I’m going sentimental this week. Plenty of great choices this week to make up ground but these two stick out clearly.
Group 3: Dude has a pair of top 10’s in the previous two Opens at Royal Troon so I’ll stick there. Chasers can look to Leishman, Kaymer or Molinari to close the gap.
Group 4: Well then. Ride old dudes or take a chance on the young English like Callum Shankwin or Matthew Southgate if you like a fairy tale.
