One of the most difficult events annually to handicap. The only angle that is etched in stone is a shootout will take place and going low is a requirement.
Also, with two easy tracks, pros will get healthy quickly. Pete Dye on Sunday will have the final say but last year two pros tied the course record with 63.

2021 is feeling the backlash of 2020 as the first full field event will no longer be a pro-am and will no longer involve three courses in the Coachella Valley.
Pete Dye’s Stadium Course at PGA West and and the Nicklaus Tournament Course will be split over the first two rounds. The top 65 and ties will tangle with the Stadium Course on the weekend.
After back to back winners in the team game, I went close again with Justin Thomas last week.
