Sebastian Munoz defends and the winner will get a trip to Augusta again this season.

Welcome aboard!
If you’re new or curious or both, my entire archive is on the website. Go back and figure out what you want or need or ignore it completely.
Each week I’ll post the folks I believe will make some noise in different categories.
Remember, if you don’t like it, you get DOUBLE YOUR MONEY BACK!
Last Week – Corales Punta Cana Resort & Club Championship
THE CHOICE: Pat Perez
Right church, wrong pew. The trend of 30-somethings continued so I went with veteran experience but the wrong one. Played his best round on Sunday to move into the top 21 and miss out on my Top 20 action on him.
Adding another 39k to the till isn’t very exciting either.
Nothing outside T29 and nothing inside T20.
THANKS JON RAHM.
Safety Dance:
Players in here will appear obvious until I explain why they might not be. Remember “one” means ONCE, not again down the road.
Will Zalatoris: A backdoor T8 that Matt Kuchar or Luke Donald would be proud to call their own. Only round of the week in the 60s and it was 65 on Sunday. Proper.
Mackenzie Hughes: Now can add solo third to his T2 second on his last visit.
Thomas Detry: Opened 68-69 to fire up his investors but played the weekend E for T33.
Spicy:
Henrik Stenson: T21 with all four rounds in the red. Gotta remember he’s 44 moving forward.
Charley Hoffman: T14 after hanging in the top 10 for part of the day on Sunday. No complaints from me on the veteran wind player.
Adam Long: 54-hole leader faded to solo fifth on Sunday. That’s on the back of T13 at Winged Foot. Bravo.
Sam Burns: 14-under but 78 on Saturday moves this back to T28. Close again.
3 AM at the Blackjack Table:
Kristoffer Ventura: T52 as he never got it in gear.
Corey Conners: 70-76 MC.
Sepp Straka: Co-FRL with 65, T5 after 36, T33 after 2-over weekend. Second year in a row here he lost steam as the week went on.
This Week – Sanderson Farms Championship
THE CHOICE: Doc Redman
Time to break thru. His record on Donald Ross/esque courses is something. He’s 32-under at Detroit Country Club, T3 at Sedgefield last month and T3 Silverado his last time out.
Punishes it tee to green so let’s make some putts.
I DARE YOU TO FINISH T21-T29. I. DARE. YOU.
Safety Dance:
Players in here will appear obvious until I explain why they might not be. Remember “one” means ONCE, not again down the road.
Will Zalatoris: Hot is hot. Who’s hotter?
Sungjae Im: Will feel like CCofJ owes him one after a playoff loss last year. Makes tons of birdies and that never hurts when almost 19-under is the winning score annually.
Adam Long: Blowing a 54-hole lead last week won’t hurt as bad since he’s already claimed a win on TOUR.
Spicy:
Carlos Ortiz: 31-under here with T3 and T4 suggests he’s comfy on this track.
Sebastian Munoz: I might leave him alone this week because of the first defense theory I have. He proved during the playoffs that he can be a factor in bigger events.
Denny McCarthy: The best putter on TOUR on some of the best, fastest greens.
Brian Harman: Steady veteran and fantastic putter.
3 AM at the Blackjack Table:
Patrick Rodgers: Big hitter, great putter.
JT Poston: No defending champion pressure like he had at Wyndham. Posted 64 here before.
Cameron Percy: Found a bit of form and zero expectations.
Good Luck!

2018-19
My contributions for the major championships and PLAYERS selection were worse than bad so to still break the $10 million mark with those awful results was encouraging.
Another valuable lesson learned is that the Playoffs are for the big boys. Now, WHICH big boys make this more and more difficult and that’s why it’s enjoyable and maddening all at the same time. Only McIlroy and Woods have won the FedExCup twice so start there.
