My Choice: Webb Simpson – 2nd

Played in the final group and shot 65 to lose by a shot. Looks worse on paper. J.T. Poston’s 62 put all the pressure on the leaders but Simpson birdied four of his last five to collect second alone. It’s his third podium in the last three years so yeah, I’m cool.

Opened with 64 but was just four-under the rest of the week. It really hasn’t happened for him this year even after the return to Todd Anderson.

Cameron Smith – MC

Swallowed the entire hook.

Patrick Reed – T22

63 on Sunday turned a disastrous pick into just a bad one.
