OAD: 83rd Masters Tournament

One more sleep!

And one more day to immerse yourself in fantasy content.

Most all of the course historians showed up and showed out besides my guy! I gave you 2nd, 3rd and a couple of T7 and I’ll never apologize for leaving out a Monday Qualifier.

I haven’t had a finish worth bragging about since Justin Thomas at Riviera. Not picking winners isn’t any fun but I surely wasn’t alone, again, this week.

We move on

My Choice: Billy Horschel – MC

Safety Dance: Matt Kuchar – T7, Tony Finau – T61, Jim Furyk – T23

Spicy: Ryan Moore – 3rd, Aaron Baddeley – T30, Jhonattan Vegas – T30, Charley Hoffman – 2nd

Picks for Dreamers: Jason Kokrak – T7, Lucas Glover – T14, Lucas Bjerregaard – DFL, Jimmy Walker – T30

Picks for Noses: Rickie Fowler – T17 (no form, never played the event), Jordan Spieth – T30 (Masters or bust right now)

Six Beers In: Ryan Palmer – MC, Sungjae Im – T20, Kelly Kraft – MC

This Week

The 83rd Masters is the first major of the season so there’s no more panning for gold.

The undulation of the fairways, greens and leaderboard throughout the week make it my favorite major.

The holes are familiar and so are the names on Sunday, usually, on the leaderboard.

In the last eight events at Augusta National Golf Club seven winners have picked up their first major championship.

I’ll argue Jordan Spieth could have won three himself.

This week will test the recent trend of first-time winners versus a STACKED FIELD of healthy, premium course horses and studs.

Read the “WHY” here and here:

My Choice: Rory McIlroy

Safety Dance: Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, Dustin Johnson

Spicy:, Paul Casey, Matt Kuchar, Rickie Fowler, Louis Oosthuizen

Picks for Dreamers: Jordan Spieth, Hideki Matsuyama, Phil Mickelson

Picks for Noses: Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka, Tony Finau, Alex Noren

Six Beers In: Brandt Snedeker, Jason Day
