PGA TOUR Fantasy Game — Sentry Tournament of Champions

Welcome to 2018!

In here, you’ll find my BRIEF thoughts and strategy for the PGA TOUR Fantasy game.

It’s no secret that I cannot stand substitution games but I’m always using it to my advantage when it benefits ME.

He should also be teeing off in your foursome tomorrow if you want to keep pace!

I finished in the top 100 last year so I’ve figured something out, BUT:

I’m off to a terrible start in 2017-18.

1.) I forgot to play one week.

2.) I had ALL SIX GUYS miss the cut at The RSM Classic to end my chances, er, season in 2017.

After reading that, I’m surprised any of you would read on but alas, I’ll forge ahead for those who do.

Last Week — The RSM Classic

  • Tournament Points: 135
  • Tournament Rank: 8,577
  • Season Points: 3,742
  • Season Rank: 5,225

POOR.

That was last year.

This is THIS year.

New segment.

New hope.

New chances to screw it up.

This Week

With 12 events on the board after this one, it’s time to start looking ahead.

All the big boys will play the WGC-Mexico Championship so that will bring in flexibility.

The West Coast Swing will handle the Poa/Bent gang.

The Florida Swing will capture the Orlando/Jupiter Bermuda lovers.

This is the only segment without a major championship.

You’ll have plenty of choices but you can only play a guy three times.

BETTER GET IT RIGHT!

Straight Chalk this week.

The ballsy play this week would be to load up on second tier guys and hope they come in. Based on the history in this event, that’s suicide so don’t. I’d be surprised if the winner does not come from this group of six, my top six:

STOC PGATOUR

Alternate Alternatives

For those of you who like to live dangerously…or like me, need to have a miracle this week to get back into business:

Jon Rahm

Patrick Cantlay

Russell Henley

Brian Harman

Kevin Kisner

Daniel Berger

Good luck!
