No, fam, ONE and done…
And we’re almost (for some) done.
The rest of you will be done.
One and Done
Each week I’ll throw in my thoughts on the field and those to back and avoid in this wonderful format.

Last Week – THE NORTHERN TRUST
My Choice: Tommy Fleetwood – T43
I paid a severe price by not using him (2nd) or Molinari (T11) at Royal Portrush and I was not rewarded for “saving him for later”.
At least he was never in it on the weekend so I didn’t even have any time to dream or get really pissed off about the whole deal.
Frequent Flyers
Webb Simpson – T18
After opening with 65, I thought he would go crazy again. Nothing wrong with T18 but it reinforces why you play him at the event he’s named one of his children after.
Brooks Koepka – T30
Better catch him on the winning weeks because he’s not demonstrated any level of consistency.
Patrick Cantlay – T12
Led the field in birdies but too many wasted shots everywhere else. Shows our affinity when T12 is a disappointment.
Justin Thomas – T12
People saving him for this week or next might just catch the breakout. Or they might not. I enjoyed his solo second at Riviera so I’m cool.
Jon Rahm – T3
In a vacuum, an excellent result. In reality, he couldn’t hold the lead up against Patrick Reed and Abraham Ancer. At this stage of the season, T3 should still help greatly, especially with an pair of “outsiders” finishing first and second.
Spicy:
Picks that should click but have more element of risk due to recent form, etc.
Jason Day – MC and caddy Steve Williams let go.
Billy Horschel – T21 while leading the field in putting.
Adam Scott – Solo fifth brought the heat but started the final round too many behind. He should be on your radar again this week.
Tony Finau – Nothing worse than collecting T30 cash after opening with 65. That’s been the story this season.
Hideki Matsuyama – T30 is about par for the course this last month for the Japanese.
Picks for Noses:
Tiger Woods – WD
Shane Lowry – T52
Scared me to death with 69-67 first two rounds before the GAS tank ran out of fuel.
Bryson DeChambeau – T24
The slow play deal ended up being the bigger story.
Six Long Islands In:
Nick Watney – T59, Ian Poulter – T10, Russell Knox – 66/80 haha, Brian Gay – DFL, Kyle Stanley – T71
Just terrible minus Poulter, sorry.
This Week – BMW Championship
My Choice: Brandt Snedeker
The play for the rest of you is Justin Rose. I had Sneds, Louis, Franny Molly or The Kizz to chose from. I’ve faded myself out of Oosthuizen and have gone with Snedeker. I have to keep Rose and his stunning record for East Lake for next week in the TOUR game.
